Region 4 State Race
- Miami Valley Club - Xenia, Ohio

Despite some rain delays the Miami Valley Central States race was another packed event in Region 4. Home to the 2007 Eastern Grand Nationals track time is critical. From night to day this track can change drastically and without much of a temperature drop. Of course when over 700 cars lay rubber down you can throw your notes away same as any other Eastern Grands. This place will be hard on equipment. Small in size be prepared to replace some components. Avoiding crashes and the steel wall is difficult. To the handlers I suggest not standing on the fence in turn four; you will jump a couple times and need to watch your backs in the narrow chute. Drivers need to be focused qualifying I believe it is truly going to determine who makes the A-main and who doesn't. The attrition rate through transfer races will probably be high. Qualifying in to a D-main or lower will make consecutive top fives tough to get.
