Madera Western Grand Nationals
Even though it was brutally hot the Western Grands was an awesome event.
We have been to the Madera Track before for national events, but his time, something was different.
Corner speeds were incredible. I have never seen exit speed like this. Outstanding grip allowed us to unlock everything but 'B's and 'AA's.
The Madera Track is an easy track for the drivers to adapt to, which made for some great racing.
The only negative to this week was the flagmen not allowing the leaders to pick up the throttle on the back stretch. For restarts the leader could only pick up the pace in turn four. The car in second made a pass nearly every time by allowing some distance between himself and the leader.
