Item # 31043006Front hub shields are typically used as a replacement for the bearing dust cover; preferably for pavement racing. These shields are to be used with standard and ceramic bearings only. Not for tapered bearings. This kit includes 2 shields. Front hub shown is not included. These shields will not keep dirt from entering the bearing as well as the stock bearing dust covers.
Item # 31043009Front hubs with tapered bearings are an option for pavement racing. Typically better rolling resistance under side load. Bearings will need to be lubricated often with high temp silicone or grease. A spacer for between the bearings is included with the assembly.
