The product photos and descriptions should help you determine which front axle is in your car. We have a certain way to measure the two different styles of axles. One style is designed for the caster/camber adjustable blocks; and a second style is designed with a fixed spindle.
This is the most common axle used for the Classic 1900 model chassis. If measured across the axle toward the top of the spindle blocks as pictured this axle should measure close to 27-1/2”.
This axle was used for the 1900 model chassis with a short right front shock tower that was optional for dirt racing. If measured across same as the Std. 1900; this axle should measure close to 25-1/2”.
This axle was designed for the Pro 2000 model chassis. If measured across the axle toward the top of the spindle blocks as pictured this axle should measure close to 28-1/2”.
This axle is used on all Ultimate 01, Xtreme 02, Kong, and G7 model cars. If measured across the top of the axle flanges as pictured this axle should measure close to 28”.
This front axle looks almost identical to the 02-Griz front axle. It is an optional dirt axle for the 07 Grizz model chassis that have an adjustable Right Front shock tower to run dirt. If measured across the top of the axle flanges as pictured this axle should measure close to 26-1/2”.
This axle is used on all G9 and G17 model cars. The identifying difference between this axle and the 02-Griz is the shock mounting points as pictured are behind the axle instead of on top. If measured across the top of the axle flanges as pictured this axle should measure close to 28”.
